월드 챔피언십은 리그 오브 레전드 프로 리그 정규 시즌의 절정으로 13개 지역 리그의 팀이 격돌하게 됩니다. 리그 오브 레전드 월드 챔피언십은 가장 폭넓은 시청자와 팬층을 보유한 e스포츠 대회이며 세계 최대 규모의 게임 및 스포츠 행사입니다. 출전팀은 월드 챔피언십 우승뿐만 아니라 묵직한 소환사의 컵과 수백만 달러의 상금을 놓고 대결을 펼칩니다.
승리를 향해 비상하는 프로팀들을 위한 주제가 ‘Phoenix’는 라이엇 게임즈 (리그 오브 레전드) 음악팀과 아티스트 및 보컬인 케일린 루소(Cailin Russo), 크리시 코스탄자(Chrissy Costanza)의 협업으로 탄생하게 되었습니다.
